  • Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.
  • In this role, you will:
  • Provide Management Information System (MIS) and operations support to collection function
  • Monitor the market and portfolio trends in order to provide strategic feedback to the management in case of delinquent accounts and recovery management
  • Carry out Group collection initiatives, ensure adherence to global, regional and country collection standards and execute audit remediation plans
  • Maintain a network of continuous and interactive relationship with the Branch Managers, Customer Service Managers, Relationship Managers and Sales Team regarding collection issues
  • Coordinate logistics and administrative supports as required
  • Provide Management Information (MI) on collection performance to regional collection and Asia Pacific (ASP) Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) RISK on regular basis and communicate with regional/global team on collection operation and site performance
Educational Requirements:
  • Graduation in business background from a reputed university
Additional Job Requirements
  • To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluent spoken and excellent writing skills in Bangla and English
  • Familiarity with Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) products, Central Banks regulations regarding credit and collections and relevant Business Instruction Manual/Functional Instruction Manual/Group Service Manual sections
  • Good team player, self-motivated and self-oriented
  • Ability to drive initiatives independently
  • Strong computer knowledge especially in MS Office
